The Image Gallery - Featured Image widget allows you to create a static image gallery with a large, scrolling preview panel and optional thumbnails.
When editing the widget, there is a layout option to display thumbnail images off/on so they appear below the featured image. Please note, when adding a listing item, you can only select one image at a time in the site library.
When a visitor to your site clicks on a featured image, it is displayed in a lightbox. You can scroll through the gallery in this view also. Image captions are not displayed in the lightbox view.
